Laborers Local 185 recognizes that members’ success goes hand in hand with employers’ success. For signatory contractors, Local 185 helps provide a skilled and trained construction workforce, dispatch support, mobile and diverse labor resources, training center access for certifications and specialty classes, on-site and weekend training options, and a state-recognized apprenticeship program jointly administered by the Union and signatory employers.
By increasing production, working safely, and constructing projects correctly the first time, employers can save time and reduce costs associated with labor, materials, insurance, and overhead.
