Apprenticeship
The Northern California Laborers Apprenticeship Program provides construction education and on-the-job training for apprentices.
Eligibility generally includes being at least 18 years old, having the ability to communicate safely on a jobsite, being physically able to perform the work of the craft, passing a drug test, and having a valid California driver’s license.
The program combines approximately 4,000 hours of on-the-job training with classroom and skills instruction. Apprentices train in areas such as demolition, concrete, asphalt, wet and dry utilities, bridge and building work, tunnel work, flagging, traffic control, and jobsite safety.
